== Description ==

**Quoteo - Invoice & CRM ** allows you to link your WordPress or WooCommerce store with **Quoteo**, a SaaS platform for invoicing and CRM management (https://www.quoteo.fr).

With this plugin, you can:
- Sync **WooCommerce customers** and **orders** to your Quoteo account.
- Generate and send **invoices automatically** from Quoteo.
- Keep your customer database up to date between both platforms.
- View synchronization logs directly from your WordPress admin.

> **Important:** This plugin connects to an external service (Quoteo).  
> Quoteo is operated by **Digitalworks**, an independent company based in France.

### Data sent to Quoteo
Depending on your configuration, the plugin may send the following data to Quoteo:
- Customer name, company, email, phone
- Billing and shipping address
- Order reference, amount, and payment status
- Your WordPress site URL and plugin version (diagnostic only)

### When data is sent
- When a WooCommerce order is created or updated  
- When a customer registers or updates their profile  
- When you trigger a manual sync from the plugin settings

### Consent and privacy
You are responsible for informing your users about this data transfer in your privacy policy.  
The plugin does **not track users** or send data without explicit configuration or consent.

== Installation ==

1. Upload the plugin files to the `/wp-content/plugins/digitalworks-quoteo-connector` directory, or install directly from the WordPress plugins screen.
2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu.
3. Go to **Settings → Quoteo Connector** and enter your API credentials (found in your Quoteo account).
4. Optionally enable WooCommerce synchronization and test an order.

Yes. You need a Quoteo account to connect and use the plugin.

Quoteo offers a free plan with basic invoicing and CRM features. Some advanced options require a paid subscription.

This plugin connects to the external service **Quoteo** to send order and customer data.  
No data is collected by Digitalworks beyond what is required for synchronization.  
When deactivated, the plugin stops any data transfer. When uninstalled, all local settings are deleted.
