== Installation ==
1. (Recommended) Take a full backup of your site
2. Upload the plugin folder to `/wp-content/plugins/`  
3. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress  
4. Go to **WebP Converter** in the admin menu to run bulk conversions and view logs  
5. Enjoy faster image loading with WebP  

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Does this plugin remove the original JPG/PNG images? =

No. Original images remain untouched. WebP is served only to supported browsers.

= What if WebP conversion fails? =

Failed conversions are logged and can be viewed in the **Failed Conversion Logs** section of the plugin admin page.

= Can I change the WebP quality? =

Currently, the default quality is **80**. Future versions may allow a settings slider.
